The CLEAR film that is used to wrap our soaps is not plastic is is made from tree pulp and is both home and industrial compostable! We have spent countless hours of research looking into sustainable and eco-friendly packaging to ensure that your luxury products are well protected and not harmful to the environment. We also use recycled materials where possible. For example our ropes in our "Soap on a Rope" products are made with 100% recycled cotton.

We use Royal Mail as much as possible to ship orders as we are trying to reduce our carbon footprint. Post is being delivered to all main land UK households continuously Monday to Saturday therefore no extra emissions are needed to deliver your precious parcel. Standard Delivery from £3.95 (dispatched within 3-5 working days) Express Delivery from £6.95 (dispatched within 1-2 working days) Orders over £45 Standard shipping within the UK is FREE ​ If you have ordered over the weekend or on a bank holiday, then we will dispatch your order on next working day (Monday-Friday). Please add your telephone number onto your order so that you can receive tracking information for your parcel. ​ Please allow 3-5 working days to process your Standard delivery order and 1-2 working days for your Express delivery. During busy periods such as Mother's day, Easter & Christmas this processing time will increase to 5-10 working days. We will however do our upmost to ship your orders as soon as possible. If in the unfortunate event of severe weather or circumstances such as delivery strikes we will not accept liability for the delays of packages.

As such, if items are returned that take your order value under the ‘Free when you spend’ amount, the shipping discount will be claimed back. All customers have the right to cancel their website order however this needs to be done before the item is packaged and dispatched. Customers may return the item/s within 14 days and receive a full refund of the cost of those, provided they remain in merchantable condition and are in original packaging. Please contact us first to arrange a return. The cost of returning any goods under the above circumstances will be paid by the customer unless the goods were sent in error.

We can confirm that all products sold by East Anglian Soap Co are fully compliant with UK & EU cosmetic regulations and all have cosmetic product safety reports. We currently only have a Responsible Person in the UK therefore we cannot currently provide any cosmetic products outside of the United Kingdom. Sorry for any inconvenience. It is illegal to sell any type of cosmetic product without having them assessed and holding valid CSPR's this includes Soap! These laws are put in place to keep the consumer (you) safe and we whole heartedly agree that your safety and well being is of the upmost importance. All of our formulations have been assessed and certified by a chartered chemist. We hold valid CSPR’s (cosmetic safety product reports) for all of our products to ensure that our customers are getting a fully approved, safe and tested cosmetic.

Our ropes are made with 100% recycled cotton and are OEKO-TEK Standard 100, this means that it is tested and certified that the yarn does not contain any harmful substance to human health or the environment. This also includes the requirements for baby articles. Due to the fact that cotton is a natural material some of the fibres will shed from the rope. The colour of the fibres will be consistent with the colour of the rope which has been used. We sometimes create mixed batches of the same scent soaps. For example in the same mould we will have some soaps with rope and some without. Therefore sometimes the fibres can be seen on our classic and travel soaps. We do however try our hardest to remove them. This does not affect the product in any way and will disappear with use.
